ACTSPORT Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide strategic direction and a ‘voice’ for local sporting organisations as well as establish relationships with stakeholders for the overall benefit of community sport and active recreation in the Canberra region.

Key Functions of ACTSPORT are:

•    Represent community sport and active recreation in the ACT for planning and coordination purposes with Government;
•    Provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas; and
•    Help sport and recreation organisations improve their capacity to deliver ‘best practice’ programs by facilitating training and professional development opportunities.

To lead the sport and active recreation industry that contributes to a vibrant and healthy ACT community
We achieve this by:
•    Advocating the social, health and economic importance of community sport and active recreation,
•    Improving the self-reliance and business practices of Member organisations, and
•    Working cooperatively and developing alliances between Government, the Community and the Private Sector

ACT Sports House
Office Lease Opportunities

ACTSPORT on behalf of the government manages the leasing of office space at ACT Sports House.

Leases are open to any sporting or recreational community organisation at subsidiesed rates, contact ACTSPORT for more information
