Junior Cricket Development Officer Position with Cricket ACT

Core Duties: Delivery of school-based cricket development programs and promotional activities aimed at increasing the participation in cricket for girls and boys at all levels. Milo in2CRICKET Skills Program, T20 Blast Cup and MEGA Clinics.
Assistance in the following programs will also be required:
- Delivery of the Active After-Schools Community Coaching Clinics
- ACTCA Holiday coaching programs
- On Ground Entertainment at cricket events
- Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the Chief Executive Officer, General Manager or Game Development Manager
Selection Criteria
- Ability to communicate with and work comfortably with children (ages 4-16) and their teachers
- Ability to work reliably with a minimum of supervision
- Willing to undergo a Working with Children” police check
- Hold or be prepared to undertake a Level 1 Cricket coaching certificate
- Previous experience in working with children desirable
- Must have own mobile phone and use of a reliable car (“P” plates acceptable)
Key Performance Indicators
- Participation numbers in the sport as reported in the annual Cricket Australia participation census
- Retention of participants to aid retention and address any emerging trends
- Feedback from participants, parents, administrators and volunteers
