Friday 23rd of October saw a first time winner of the Sportsman’s Warehouse Sportstar of the Year awards in Adam Folkard of Softball. Adam was named International Pitcher of the Year after leading Australia to the International Softball Federation XII Men’s World Championship held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada).

Australian U23 Cycling Championships
At the Australian U23 Road Championships Michael again showed that he is one of the dominant Men’s U23 category riders, securing bronze in both the time trial and the road race.
His recent successes lead to him being selected in the Uni-SA team to contest the Santos Tour Down Under Pro Tour event in Adelaide against some of the cream of world cycling, (e.g. Lance Armstrong and Cadel Evans).
